Have you ever needed someone to accompany you to a medical procedure because you will be administered anesthesia and a driver is required by your medical provider? Do you find yourself over extended, drowning in “to do lists”, spending your weekends running around doing errands or trying to get organized? Or maybe you could use a helping hand – clean out cupboards, flip a mattress, declutter, straighten out a garage, change smoke alarm batteries, etc. Or maybe you know of a relative or friend who might benefit from having someone they can call when they need a bit of help. An Extra Hand When Needed

My service caters to any person or business that could use an extra hand, either occasionally, temporarily, or ongoing. Below are some examples of available services; please reach out if you have any questions.

  • After surgery help: meals, laundry, light cleaning.
  • Escorting to/from a procedure where a designated driver is needed. Will travel as far as Olympia; no charge for drive time; charge for gas, my wait time and follow-up time at your home if your discharge instructions indicate that is needed.
  • Hospital or doctor appointment companion to Aberdeen; no charge for drive time; charge for gas and a minimum of 2 hours wait time.
  • Car servicing – I’ll drive the car and wait for service to be completed. You will have provided your credit card information to your mechanic.
  • Waiting – for deliveries, repair or other home services; 2 hour minimum.
  • Check in on a relative or friend
  • Companionship; give a caregiver a break
  • Clerical Work: correspondence, Invitations, thank you notes, etc.
  • Help with party/event set-up, clean-up
  • Home/office organization
  • Shopping – grocery store, drug store, hardware store, etc.
  • Uber driver
